About us
Since 1993 we have brought packaging materials, packaging machines and ingredients from European manufacturers to producers in Romania. Today we also laminate and slit flexible films on our own equipment, and technical support is part of every delivery.
Who we are
MTC România Impex SRL started operating in 1993 as a subsidiary of MTC Holding Ges.m.b.H. The same group includes companies in Poland, Slovenia and Serbia; MTC Poland, for example, produces the MT Cospack laminate for cosmetic sachets, which we distribute in Romania.
Over the years we have grown into a supplier of packaging, packaging equipment and ingredients for the food industry and other industries, in partnership with manufacturers from the European Union. For dairy processors we are a recognised distributor of cultures, rennets and enzymes.
Besides distribution, we laminate and slit flexible films on our own equipment. BarrierLab is the film and flexible packaging testing laboratory, a service offered by MTC România.

Our team
Our specialists have been with the same organisation for 7 to 27 years. They are trained regularly by our suppliers and by MTC, and take part in national and international symposiums and exhibitions.
This experience is the basis of the technical support we provide: choosing the right film or machine, implementation on the production line, samples for testing, installation and service.
